OCTOBER 2021 LRC HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Tuition for LRC is based on a sliding scale, a tool that can provide equitable access to skill-building and life-long learning opportunities, regardless of financial resources. This method of payment requires active participation and personal reflection on what makes sense for your family’s financial situation, and how you would like to support learning in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls community. This is one way of acknowledging differences in wealth, income, costs, and privilege and actively addresses the economic disparities in our communities and society. RNRC4G is using this model as a way to say ‘no’ to the way things are and ‘yes’ to the way we believe things can be, while providing an excellent rock camp experience for all. We hope that this fee structure offers more awesome people the opportunity to engage in our community.

The tuition scale has been set at the absolute lowest amount possible ($150.00) for us to cover our costs and meet expected financial goals for our programs. If you can give more than the full tuition ($150.00) or would like to sponsor another Liberation Rock Camper, that option is available and warmly welcome when you register! While your tuition is not considered a donation, any amount beyond the full tuition amount ($150.00) is, and all donations are tax deductible. Whether you can give $5.00 or $500.00 above, every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated!

We understand that life happens and things come up that might prevent you from attending Liberation Rock Camp. Should you need to cancel, the policy of Portland’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls is to follow the schedule below when refunding any portion of tuition that you paid toward attending our programs.

*Please note that we cannot roll over your application to a different session or transfer your tuition to a Liberation Rock Camp in another city.

Liberation Rock Camp does not provide housing accommodations. Some local participants may be willing to host out-of-town campers.

Several meals are included during the retreat. We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, but if you have strict limitations, allergies, or preferences, please consider bringing some food for yourself just in case. We can provide refrigeration. Wear comfortable clothing; closed-toe shoes and a water bottle are highly recommended.
